In this study electrical resistivity and induced polarization tomography (ERT and IPT) have been used for surveying sub-surface condition of a magnetite mass in Kuh-e-Sorkhzeitoun
district. As mineral ore bodies have been developed in 2-D and 3-D configurations, the recruitment of traditional methods such as vertical resistivity sounding (VRS) is a naivety and it has not an admissible outcome. By utilizing ERT and IPT one can able to investigate lateral and vertical variations of electrical properties in a 3-D space. For this purpose a profile with 5m electrode spacing performed and survived with dipole-dipole configuration. After gathering data, RES2DINV and ZOND software programs have been used for 2-D modeling of the sub-surface condition. Based on the results the magnetite body has a suitable underground expansion.
