In this research it has been tried to inquire a copper ore by utilizing electrical tomography technique in Ivand area, eastern Azerbaijan. An especial ability on dual investigation of electrical properties in both lateral and vertical spans nominates the technique as a powerful tool for an ore digging. Induced polarization has an important role on probing of disseminated sulfide bodies. In addition to electrical resistivity, the induced polarization has been survived for metallic factor determination. According to geological setting and expected probing depth two profiles with 370m length and 10m electrode spacing performed and survived with Wenner
configuration. After the data gathering, RES2DINV and ZOND computer programs have been used for 2-D modeling of the ore sub-surface expansion. Results offer an economically proper
condition for the ore.
